Development partnerships

Your ongoing development team, white-label if you need it.

StudioRav works as a development partner for agencies, software teams and growing businesses that need dependable engineering capacity. We can deliver white-label under your brand, provide ongoing support and improvement, or add dedicated developer time. Requests are briefed, estimated, built on staging and handed over with documentation.

Who it suits

Who is a development partnership for?

Anyone who needs accountable engineering capacity more often than a one-off project, but does not want to carry a full in-house team.

Digital and creative agencies

Add WordPress, Shopify and custom engineering without hiring, and keep the client relationship with you.

Ecommerce businesses

Steady improvement of a store: fixes, new features, integrations and performance work, planned rather than ad hoc.

Teams with complex WordPress

Large or heavily customised sites that need someone who knows the code and looks after it properly.

Software teams short on capacity

Extra engineering time on a defined backlog, working inside your tools and review process.

Money saved

How does a development partner save you money?

A development partner lets you sell engineering you do not employ. You pay for the work you need, when you need it, with no idle time, then resell it to your clients at a price you set.

No hiring overhead

Salaries, recruitment fees, equipment, holiday and sickness cover stay with us, not on your payroll.

Pay for work, not idle time

Capacity moves with your pipeline, so you are not paying a developer to wait for the next project.

A whole team, not one hire

WordPress, Shopify and custom engineering sit in one team, so you do not need a separate specialist for each.

A wide range of experience

We bring experience from many projects across WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce and custom builds, so we have usually solved your client's problem before.

Potential markup

How much can you mark up our work?

Because we work white-label, the price your client sees is yours to set. What you charge above our price to you is your margin. How much that is depends on your market and your clients, and we will talk it through with you.

Set your own resale price for every piece of work

Keep the client relationship, and the margin, with you

Quote with confidence, because estimates are agreed before work starts

Add services you do not have in-house, without carrying the cost

Grow revenue without adding headcount

Ready to talk numbers? Contact us and we will agree rates in writing.

Who we partner with

Businesses that resell our work

Signage companies adding websites and online ordering to their print and fabrication work

Accountancy firms offering websites and online tools to their clients

IT providers adding web development to their managed services

Design, marketing and other agencies that need extra engineering

Any service business whose clients keep asking for a website

Engagement types

How can we work with you?

Three ways to engage. They can be combined, and we agree the shape of each one with you before starting.

Best for agencies

White-label delivery

Work done under your brand for your client. We stay behind the scenes, communicate the way you prefer and never approach your client directly.

Best for live sites

Support and continuous improvement

A regular rhythm of fixes, updates, monitoring and small improvements for a site or store we know well.

Best for product teams

Dedicated engineering capacity

An agreed amount of developer time each month, applied to your backlog in priority order.

How it works

How does a request move from brief to delivery?

The same six steps apply whether the request is a small fix or a larger piece of work.

1

Request

You send a request in whatever form you have: a ticket, an email, a call. It is logged on the shared board.

Triage

We turn it into a short written brief, agree its priority with you and confirm the scope.

3

Estimate

You receive an estimate and an approach before any work starts. Nothing is built without your approval.

Build on staging

Work is done on staging with version control, in small reviewable pieces.

5

Release

You review, we fix what needs fixing, then release on a planned date with a rollback ready.

Report

Documentation is updated, and a short summary shows what was done and what is next.

FAQs

Development partnership questions, answered

What is a development partnership?

It is an ongoing arrangement where StudioRav provides engineering capacity for your websites, stores or software, instead of one-off projects. The scope, priorities and ways of working are agreed up front and written down for each engagement, so both sides know what is covered and what is chargeable extra.

Can you work white-label for our agency?

Yes. We can work under your brand, communicate the way you prefer and keep the client relationship with you. We stay behind the scenes and never approach your client directly. You set your own resale price, and we agree the ground rules before the first request.

How are requests prioritised and tracked?

Each request is logged on a shared board, turned into a short written brief, then estimated and approved by you before any work starts, so you can always see its status. We agree priority levels with you at the outset, and what each one means is written down.

Do you offer SLAs?

Response and resolution targets can be agreed per engagement, depending on the platform and the support you need, along with working hours and cover for urgent issues. We do not publish a one-size-fits-all SLA, because what is sensible differs from one engagement to the next.

How is pricing worked out?

Pricing depends on the engagement type and the capacity you need, so it is agreed with you in writing rather than published as a fixed rate card. If you resell our work, you set your own resale price. Contact us to discuss it.

Can you work inside our tools and processes?

Yes. We can use your repositories, project tracker and review process, or set up shared ones if you do not have them. Work is done on staging with version control, in small reviewable pieces, and released on a planned date with a rollback ready.
